I'm Offended

When I was in college, the gender classes I took raised my awareness of subtle messages to such a level that I was offended by countless ads and nearly every MTV video. But these days, it takes much more than a gyrating video vixen to make steam rise from my ears. But Ted Nugent's newest album covers have got me really pissed off. On one hand, I know giving him the time of day just draws attention to him, but on the other, I've really got to say something.

I wouldn't care if the woman were just naked on the cover. What pisses me off is on one he's blowing up the symbol for supporting breast cancer research/survivors (he calls this "A War Against Breast Cancer" in his liner notes, but I'm not buying it), and on the other he's looking to blow up a woman. A naked woman is one thing. Literally wanting to destroy women is another. What is wrong with this man?
