Birthday Cake

Ok. When I saw Wired's cover with Martha Stewart and the Wii cake, I wanted that cake for my birthday. But then I saw a yarn cake on CakeJournal.com, and oh boy, I think I want this one more. There aren't any instructions and the woman who made it lives in Denmark, but it is just so cool.

Which do you think is better?

1. Wired Cake

2. Yarn Cake

3. Random third Super Mario Bros. cake

  1. About the cakes, they all look interesting. I think as an old cake maker that Mario is the best. The MS photo is scary - she is well into her fifties if not sixty and on the cover she has been so photoshopped she looks 30. Somebody needs to step back from the tablet. The Wii definetly looks cool but that cake must be a brick to hold up the game. The knitting one looked good until the yarn turned gray on the table. Sounds like you are having fun. Since I was the original gamer that taught you, don't forget I won a t-shirt playing an old activision game in a national contest. I remember staying up lots of nights till 3 or 4 until I got what I thought would be a winning score. I still sometimes stay up playing games all night, but only when school is out, teachers can't be more asleep than their students. I don't like games that are all slaughter or beater, and the cute stuff definetly gets old fast. Alice was alot of fun when you were little. I have just finished Marvel Alliance, a bit of a beater. No taking photos when driving! Danger!!! Even if light trails are cool.

  2. I was tempted to say the knitting cake, but then it started reminding me of play-doh. I'm gonna go with the Super Mario Cake because I've already seen how to make the Wii cake and it's not edible. S.
