After work I went by Santa Monica's 3rd street promenade because I wanted some Fleur de lys hooks for my closet. On the way home, I decided to drive by the ocean (on "Ocean" no less) instead of driving through the city. It was so gorgeous - blue sky stretching as far as I could see and the landscape was dotted with bright colored buildings and palm trees. Ahhh, sigh. When I got home, K and I took off again for a low-key Italian dinner then met her brother at an upscale sushi restaurant (Golden Pearl) in Pacific Palasades. The waiter kept harassing us, but the green tea ice cream was worth the hassle.
This is the view from the parking garage on the 3rd Street Promenade:

Right now, I'm just chilling here, kinda hungry at my desk waiting for my interview to call. It was scheduled for 40 minutes ago, and I'm still waiting...I hope they call soon, because I need lunch.
Tonight should be fun - there's a really cool event happening at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood.
